the Quiz will be after finishing the two groups.

1- The due date for the report is sunday,24,1,2009.

2- It is important to know you CMOS features and functions. try to find it please or write your problems in the report.

3- Dont reassemble your cpu and fan please.

4- as I told you reassemble every thing except the motherboard leave it in the case and the cpu and the cpu fan and the power supply except the connectors that connected to each device.

5- Provide information about the interrupt settings, you should find this information in the device manager—–> means the IRQs and the chip used. put them text.

6- my office hours on Sunday from 11-1.

There is no final lab for L.Nora students on Sunday at all.

I am so sorry but it must be on our time (Monday10-12, and Tuesday 8-10, 10-12) for my students.

also I have assignment without name( 2 papers for hard drive assignment and one paper for CPU assignment)- please visit me to assign your names.

1- check your midterm grades.

2- for today monday 10-12, i have to let you working by yourself and the second hour i am ready to solve your problem thats why I come late.

3- there will be office hours to solve the problems before the final lab :

tomorrow tuesday from 8-10 and 12-1

Sunday from 8-9 and 10-12

Monday from 12-1

4- The due date for assignment 5 is wednesday put it please in the box near my office.

we will make your last lab tomorrow on monday from 1-3 because there is problems with some students, please if there is problems with you replay this post or send me an email.

On this Monday(10-12) for group 1&5 and (1-3) for group 4&8 and Tuseday the first hour you will format, partition you hard drive and installing the operating system. So bring your Windows CD please.

The second hour we will have an assignment to prepare you for the quiz of the final lab.

In the final lab you will be evaluated on assemblig:

1- hard drive, cd drive, floppy drive

2- expantion cards( Video or sound or modem card)

3- RAM stick

4- power supply connector

5- processor fan connector

6- front panel connectors (power software, power LED, HDD LED, RESET, AND Front USB)

The hard drive should be formatted and partitioned and the windows is installed before the final lab, the evaluation will be on the working computer.

Note:

Each group will take only 45 minutes in assembling and solving the quiz, and I will put the schedule for each group.
